Manchester United have reportedly arranged a sham friendly match with Monaco in a bid to circumvent rules surrounding the loan deal for Radamel Falcao.

The agreement to organise the match was part of the deal to sign ‘El Tigre’ Radamel Falcao on loan during Louis van Gaal’s tenure.
According to the เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย , United were keen to include a £3.5m performance-based bonus in the offer, which was dependent on a team’s finishing position in the Premier League, specifically whether they finished in the top four. However, French football rules do not allow this. According to
Football Leaks, a website that compiles ridiculous football details, United have agreed two deals – one for Falcao on loan worth £5m and another for organising friendly matches between the two clubs worth £3.5m.
The only condition is that United finish in the top four. But it has been claimed that if the friendly did not take place, United would still have to pay the £3.5m to Monaco.
In Van Gaal’s first season in charge, Louis guided the Red Devils to a fourth-place finish and a place in the Champions League the following season.
However, ahead of the 2015-16 season, he cancelled a friendly that the two clubs had agreed to, meaning the game never happened after the clubs toured America to compete in the International Champions Cup.
Neither Manchester United nor Monaco have commented on the idea that the cancelled friendly was an attempt by the clubs to circumvent French league rules at the time.
